To start, I haven't abandoned my label! I just started at my new job last Monday so I've been forced to push my label into an evening and weekend thing, which isn't ideal, but that is how life goes sometimes. I'm working on loads of one-off cuffs right now, basically the essence of the label, going back to what I did when I started and I'm so excited, I can't wait to get them on the site!

While doing the Anarchy In the Winter collection is fun, it is also challenging, because I'm only using a set amount of embellishments so as to make the range concise. The thing I love about one-offs is that the possibilities are endless and I don't have to worry about not having more of the materials in stock. It's a very liberating way of designing and making. It's also super special for the person who ends up with it because it is truly one-of-a-kind!

I want to further push the hair accessory side of my label so developments on the Linger headband is planned as well as designing more brooches.

I am in love with the Office! I just watched the whole first and second season on DVD in 2 days and I want mooore! I know I'm a bit late in catching the whole 'Office fever', but we don't have an aerial in the flat..I've been without telly for 2 years now or so. It's not as hard as it seems to go without, but I do tend to be glued to the tv whenever I go home to NY at my parents house with their saatelite caaable!! I love Fuse TV!! They wholeheartedly support Coheed which is awesome.

I'm currently talking to a polymer supplier in China about the possibility of them supplying the polymer clay roses I use throughout my items. I currently have a girl I met on eBay handmaking them for me. She is fantastic but she is only one person and I sometimes hate to bombard her with big orders. I received my replacement stock today in the post (charms, chains, etc) from America, so that is a load off my mind- thanks Kat!

There are some additions to the website that I want to add such as a links page and a temporary shop (as well as integrating this blog into the site). I'm working on exclusive one-off pieces at the moment that I plan to sell through the site really really soon. xxj

I've been having trouble sleeping these past few days.. the time is now 3.25am and I have just crawled out of bed because my mind is racing and might as well get the fingers racing too...

Quite excited cos funkshop.co.uk has gone live with the current collection in tow. I'm interested to see how it will do as it is my first UK online stockist. I've been making multiples of all the items that are on the site, as I am trying my hand at wholesaling.

Just finished watching 'Brotherhood of the Wolves' tonight. I got the first 3/4 of the film, then after Mani dies I'm completely lost and if anyone has watched that film, please can someone explain the ending to me? Great film though, was very impressed with it!

I'm currently in the middle of sorting out my UK residency and I think it's that mixed with other things that is keeping me awake at night. I moved to London about 4 years ago for college and I've got til September to sort out my visa. It's something that I don't dwell on to the point of obsession, but it's a looming factor.

It's now 4.05am... I'm chatting to a friend of mine via AIM so I best publish this entry and then hopefully try and get some sleep, otherwise I'll just stay up and watch the sky change colour over Curtain Road...
